ABL specialises in the design, fabrication, finishing and assembly of aluminium extrusions and operates a one stop shop that will help you to save costs and improve lead time & quality. You can benefit from design for manufacture support, stockholding facilities and our large secure warehouse, coupled with other 35 years in supplying a huge range of market sectors based in the UK and around the world.

Some of the capabilities we have under one roof include stockholding, logistics support, assembly, CNC machining, sawing / cutting, deburring, anodizing, powder coating, welding and delivery. We source many hundreds of tonnes of aluminium extrusion and can also provide added-value services to customer’s own raw material (on a free issue basis).

Clean, dry and safe storage

Our warehousing facilities are all located from one main site, with 24 hour security surveillance which constantly protects the high value raw material and finished aluminium extrusion components which have been produced. All material is stored under cover so that there is no damage caused by inclement weather – outside storage can often badly affect the surface of the raw material which is especially important if the surface quality of the material is key.

Optimised mill sourcing

A major benefit of ABL sourcing and stocking hundreds of tonnes of aluminium extrusion means that we have the experience and contacts of dealing with aluminium extrusion mills based all around the world. Many of these have specific technical capabilities for certain types of extrusion needs and so we can build on our many years of dealing with these mills to ensure we align your aluminium extrusion profile requirements with the best raw material supplying mill. ABL will take responsibility for managing all the quality elements to ensure we convert the aluminium extrusion profile into the best possible added value component.

Flexible logistics support

ABL is also well-versed in managing customers’ schedules and we provide consignment stock arrangements for a wide range of different market sectors. We are able to offer logistics support including linking our manufacturing IT system into our customers to ensure excellent delivery performance and avoiding costly administration. On a daily basis we handle complicated bill of material schedules with hundreds of different parts.

You can be assured that customer’s own raw material (free issue aluminium extrusion) will be handled with the same care as our own. Because we handle a great deal of overseas trade (both inbound and export) we have excellent capability in handling 40 foot trailers.
