ABL Heatsinks has been a supplier of heat sinks to the electronics industry since its formation in 1975 and now offers one of the UK's most comprehensive ranges of heat sinks. We offer a broad range of standard extruded heat sinks, ranging in size and thermal performance and as we carry extensive stocks of these heatsink profiles we can offer a customised service on very short lead times. However, standard designs do not always meet customer requirements and in these instances we will help develop a custom solution which satisfies the criteria of thermal performance, space available and budget.

To supplement our range of extruded heatsink products we also offer a wide range of board mounted and BGA heatsinks, again from stock at short lead times.

ABL also offers the bespoke machining and anodising of heatsinks using in-house facilities allowing us to control costs, quality and lead time.

ABL aluminium components has over 40 years of anodising experience and is one of very few companies in the UK that combine fabrication, powder coat and anodising on the same site. We offer natural silver, black, gold and champagne finishes in a range of film thicknesses from AA3 to AA25. We can anodise components up to 2.7m in length and can meet the exacting quality standards set by customers in such varied sectors as automotive, cosmetic and medical industries.

Powder coat is the most widespread method of surface coating aluminium extrusion and provides an almost limitless choice of colours with excellent repeatability of colour matching. Principle benefits are; no risk of running or blistering, consistent surface appearance (colour and texture), the ability to withstand knocks and abrasions combined with good UV and corrosion resistance.

ABL uses alocrom1200 as a pre-treatment and can handle components up to 6m.
